Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

My application still says "forwarded to program for review" and I applied in mid January for anyone wondering/anyone who is in the same boat! Hoping the status changes today and I hear from them for an interview.

cumulative GPA=3.52 science prereq= 4.0

good luck everyone. for the timeline of decision, I got a phone call for interview on Monday, had my interview on Wednesday, and got my acceptance email Friday.

Hi everyone,

I got my acceptance today as well. I had an interview Tuesday.

I have a 3.55 cumulative GPA and a 3.7 prerequisite GPA. I got an 89.3 on the TEAS. I have one class in progress. As for experience, I've been volunteering/working on and off for a couple of years now. A lot of them involved medical experience while others were just plain customer service. 

I think they are going to be interviewing people every week because we are only given 7 days to accept our offer. More people should be called Monday for interviews.

Hey all,

I also got an acceptance email today! 

Overall GPA: 3.72

Science GPA: 3.80

I got a 90.2 on the TEAS

I am currently finishing one last prerequisite class, Lifespan psychology. During college I volunteered at hospitals and worked part time.

When did everyone who heard back apply?  I have no clue how review works because a lot of us here submitted on October with nothing in sight besides "File forwarded to program for review"

 

Have a 3.83 cumulative , 4.0 Science, 89.3 on TEAS (100 math, 83 science, 87 reading)

Only had one pre-req that had my grade submitted the day before Christmas too (Microbiology w/ lab)

I received my letter of acceptance today too!

Congratulations to my new fellow classmates and good luck to everyone else!!

Hey guys, for those of you who have gotten accepted I want to say Congratulations & I wish you guys best of luck in the program. I also wanted to know if you received your acceptances email only? Or have some of you received a letter sent to you?
