Hi everyone,
I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.
Best of luck to those applying!
if it makes anyone feel better, I have a 4.0 in my prerequisites, a 3.7 undergrad and for the TEAS I got 98 in science, 98 in reading and 94 in math. I have heard NOTHING and my application still says file forwarded to program for review. and I applied in october. so IDK what to think about this but it seems like maybe they're really behind or something
really frustrating to say the least

I feel you, I have a spot in a Summer semester starting school but would not prefer that tuition. I think my chances are dwindling and I wish us all luck on hearing back soon. Really sucks to be in the dark for 5 months after submitting WAY before deadline on a "rolling admissions" basis.

OMG thank you, this actually calmed my anxiety a little bit... it has been so frustrating and stressful
I actually just spoke to someone on the phone and he said that the interview process is ongoing, that they have 100 percent not filled all the seats and that as a result of the deadline being extended everything is taking longer than usual. SO THERE IS HOPE! It sounded from his tone like there actually are quite a few seats left
so not time to freak out yet I would say ?

I have a similar GPA to yours as well. Hoping they start notifying us soon...

They mentioned it in todays information sessions ? I tried asking when interviews started but they didn't say. they also wouldn't say how many seats are left
