SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University FNP Fall of 2020

Hey, I applied to SUNY Downstate FNP program for fall of 2020. I’m a little nervous. Has anyone heard back yet?

I’m a re-applicant. I applied last year and got waitlisted. I applied super early this year (first week of November). In February I got an email saying that my application has been forwarded to the committee for review. I still didn’t get a call or email to schedule an interview. Have a lot of you heard back or interviewed yet?

Hello , I'm still waiting for a response as well. I interviewed in March and my status has been changed to forwarded to the program for review. Has anyone applied to the WHNP program ?

How did your interview go? Did you have to write essay too?

Same here. I sent email to admission and they said everyone will get an interview.

My interview went well, it was a group interview and yes there was an essay but it wasnt bad at all. I was told to start checking the portal a week later for a decision but that was right before COVID-19 which is probably causing a delay for applicants.

Hello all, I would like to ask if you know anybody who submitted/ completed their application February 15 2020 and beyond and was already interviewed?

I got accepted to the FNP program! I applied Sept 19th and interviewed last Tuesday.
