SUNY Downstate FNP 2021

Hi, is anyone applied for the SUNY Downstate FNP FALL 2021 program?

Specializes in NICU, Adult primary care, Radiology, IR.

Hey everyone,

I was interviewed and accepted this week to the Women's Health NP Program at SUNY downstate. Any other WHNPs out there who have applied or been accepted? I know we're a small group, but hoping to connect with some of you before fall ?

Hey guys,

I applied for the FNP DNP Program Fall 2021 at SUNY Downstate on January 14, interviewed on March 9, and got accepted on March 12. The interview was pretty straightforward and the interviewer was very nice and polite. Anyone else will be attending this program in the fall? I'm so excited and anxious! Looking forward to meeting you all and good luck with your application process.

Hello, I will be in the program as well. I'm so nervous but excited as well. Looking for to taking this next adventure.

Just wondering if anyone has heard back for FNP program at Suny Downsate? I applied in the beginning of January 2021, nothing yet. Status still says "File forwarded to Program for Review". Thanks!

Hey, same here! They requested my license and I submitted it right away but still haven’t heard anything. This was since the beginning on March. Hopefully we hear something soon.

SAME! I am freaking out because the process is taking longer for some applicants. I also got into LIU’s FNP program but I have been getting all negative feedback about it ?

Wow that awesome, congratulations! So you applied to LIU before Suny, Im guessing. Either way, you're set! I love long island thats where I went to nursing school but I live in Brooklyn so its much closer- and also super cheap

Same! My status changed to that two days ago. They took a long time processing my documents and I applied since January. I got into LIU and paid the deposit to hold my seat but I am hoping for downstate

I didn't realize LIU had such poor reviews for the FNP program!
