SUNY Downstate FNP FALL 2018

Hi everyone!,

I am a current RN in the NYC area, and have submitted an application to SUNY Downstate Family Nurse Practitioner Program MSN Fall 2018 this week. I wanted to know if there is anyone else who applied to it as well. Or any current/former students who can provide insight on the program. Any information is greatly appreciated ! Thankyou.

I am currently still working on my application, but will be submitting soon. Although the deadline is in March, I am concerned about applying too late, but I have to try! Wishing all applicants the best !

I finished my application Nov 30 2017 as deadline was Nov 30. and I got a call around Jan 15, had an interview 23th, and got a letter Jan 29. Good luck!

Hi guys! I just had an interview today. I was super nervous and stumbled when asked some of the questions. I poured my heart and sole into both of my essays but I’m just scared I wasn’t able to truly paint a picture of myself during the group interview. Any advice or words of wisdom?

anybody from the fall 2018 group with advice possible first-semester help for the fall 2019 group. The 1st classes are Patho, Health, and Pharm all super difficult courses. Can anyone help? Please. You can private message me if you don't feel comfortable posting on a thread.
