Hi everyone!, I am a current RN in the NYC area, and have submitted an application to SUNY Downstate Family Nurse Practitioner Program MSN Fall 2018 this week. I wanted to know if there is anyone else who applied to it as well. Or any current/former students who can provide insight on the program. Any information is greatly appreciated ! Thankyou.

Hi everyone, I currently have my BSN and graduated in May. I have been working as a nursing assistant for one year now and am having trouble with finding a new job in NYC as a RN. I have submitted many applications to various hospitals around the city, but was only called for an interview to one position. I accepted a job at a clinic as a RN for now. Does any body have any suggestions as to how I should move forward, or how they were hired in NYC hospitals after graduation? -Thanks in advance!

@nirana I'm on the same boat as you. I'm totally clueless about how the deposit and everything works. I did pay my deposit.

@nirana I'm going to be a new student at SBU . How hard would it be to get placement from 1-10? I'm going to hate if I have to commute from Queens.

Hi everyone, I plan on living on campus and I wanted to know from students who attend SBU or are currently in the nursing program if it is hard to be accommodated with placement for a dorm?
