Hey Everyone!

I figured I should start a new thread for the upcoming round of decisions. How are you all feeling? What are your backgrounds? Have you applied to other schools? My application is in the review progress, so my fingers are crossed and hopes are high!

Looking forward to the conversation :)

Lauren

My checklist says... deposit, acceptance response form, proof of citizenship and final transcript along with all the health information. All have red x's since I have not heard from them yet. Does everyone elses who has been accepted or has yet to find out say the same?

Hey, I haven't heard yet either and my checklist is basically the same. I have green checkmarks next to my final transcript and Mathematic (not statistics) but no background check item. I'm assuming I was wait listed... just wish they would tell me that

Specializes in cardiac.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the program.

Congratulations to all of you who got accepted :)

If you have any questions about the program, feel free to PM me.

Wow... so now Im starting to lose some hope! my link still has just application fee. I wish they would give some sort of information. I have a full time job I must give notice to. To those accepted already CONGRATS!!!!!! I'm sure you will all do great!!

On a side note.... Does anyone know of any programs that do not have a10 year cap on classes. A few of my pre-req are right at that cut off. my options are slim pickings and have only found a few schools

Columbia's ABSN program has no cap on pre-req classes

Thank you very much @petunia03

Well, I noticed that something was added as not being received to my checklist today. I was concerned so I called the admissions office. Still being told the same thing - that I should hear "soon" and they could let us know up until the day before the program starts.

I actually called the admissions office yesterday to ask about my application. They told me the same thing, they could let us know up to the day before the program starts! I gave her my name and said my application was sent to admissions with a decision over a month ago and she checked and comes back and tells me, a decision letter has not been sent out yet. She will not tell me when it will be sent out either. I think it is insane that this process is taking so long!! I have decided I am most likely not going to accept if I do get in.

Also the health checklist says allow 6-8 weeks to complete this process. So how can we get the health stuff completed before the start if we are only finding out the day before?

I know it's weird.. it seems as though people heard back in early March or even before that? but doesn't seem like anyone has heard since then. I have already taken them out of the equation.. you would think they can send out an email decision to move things a little quicker, especially since the program starts so soon and people need to make decisions regarding other schools.

@nicole616 the health checklist took 1 day to update. I gave it in and the next day it was updated. I think they mean 6-8 weeks for blood tests or some special circumstances. Not completely sure though.
