SUNY Brockport ABSN 2021-2022

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for this cycle's ABSN program at Brockport that's starting next Summer 2021. It's been tough getting in touch with the program director this Summer (understandably so, this year has been bonkers!) and I figured this thread could be a good place to talk about the program and post questions that others might be able to answer! It's still early in the game but I thought it'd be a good idea nonetheless to have it up and ready to go ?

Hey! I had asked the director this same question. She told me to select the Summer 2021 term and for major I chose the only "nursing" option that wasn't one of the RN required options. Hope this helps!

Did anyone get a link to submit essays, prerequstiives etc yet?

I haven’t got anything yet.  I submitted my transcripts about a week ago. I didn’t know an essay is required. How many pages is the essay and what question you have to answer if you don’t mind me ask.

LOL no, don't panic! I am not sure if there is an essay or anything like that, I just want to ask if we are supposed to get a link to submit our stuff, my bad

The ABSN application is on there. It closes Oct 1. The only required essay is a 1-2 page personal statement.

Thank you for your response. I already submitted my essay. I wish  they could let us about decisions soon. Last year they made decision around October 24. I spoke with someone today and she said “decisions might be a little late this year due to the circumstances of having part of the faculty working remotely.”  :/
