We played mini-golf today and I came away with an injury. On the 17th hole, tread of my sneakers got stuck in the astroturf and I tripped and fell. I landed On the bricks that line the holes, scraping the heel of my hand and banging my knee. Now I’m home with bandaids and an ice pack applied. And I tore my favorite pair of pants. Rats.
So much for cutting the grass this afternoon.

Dianah glad the program went well
Stars glad you were able to get the condenser down the stairs without issue. I think acknowledging burnout is the first step
NJ22 birds are on the move, although I have noticed I see more during the Spring migration than the fall
Tweety it could be some combination of the recent hurricane and ongoing pandemic which has left people on edge
Ado that sounds like a good idea, will be easier on his back. Hope you can get stuff sorted out for stepson
Was rather busy yesterday, dropped the car off, picked up the rental and went bird watching. Came home and baked gingersnaps, then went over to dad's new place for an hour or so to help unpack. Now that almost everything is unpacked he has to decide what to throw away, donate to Goodwill, and what to keep. The new place is better for him, first floor, smaller, and only 1 step. Not quite as nice as his previous place but it should do fine. Worked on knitting yesterday too
Today before church I'll get the laundry done and the crock pot recipe started. Have to read at church, then meet the cat sitter so I can give her the keys. I'll finish up the cooking and then go to the knitting group at church. Have been making better progress on the scarf although having occasional difficulties
Will be another dry day in the 60s. I do like this sort of weather
