Happy Mother's Day.

Joe, hope you sleep better tonight. Sounds like an action packed day.

I'm off today for the next week. Will drive to North Carolina for a visit with my sister and parents. I'll call today for Mother's Day.

I woke up at 3AM parched from the Chinese food and got some cold water and decided to feed the dog and go back to sleep. Realized after feeding the dog it wasn't in 4AM yet but we did go back to sleep and she happily got breakfast over 2 hours early.

Went to yoga. Not much on the agenda other than being lazy.

It is time to get up out of bed and get dressed. Maybe SiL will come by to shower Nannie? I haven't heard anything about her doing so; it is just that sometimes she says it makes it easier coming over on Monday to transport Nannie to daycare, to have her already bathed on Sunday. I don't care one way or the other.

My lower back and right hip and left knee are still playing hostess to the gypsies.

Life continues to be a step or two below MEH....

Happy Mother's Day, y'all! I know you have mothered SOMETHING in your life: plants, four-legged creatures, humans. 🙂

I couldn't sleep last night, finally dropped off after 6am. At least there's that. Looking forward to our Zoom call with the ds's today! It will be another hot day, in the high 90's, and then cool off tomorrow. I have heard more than one person say, "I'm just not ready for the Summer temperatures yet!"

Happy Mothers' Day! Or I guess it's officially Mother's Day though that makes less sense to me.

Had lunch with a friend yesterday but otherwise did very little. Today we went to church and sang. Cooked burgers on the grill. Bought a lemon meringue pie and I had a slice but then we left Gma unsupervised and she placed the entire pie in a bowl, all smashed up.

Spent over 2 hours on a video call from stepdaughter. Like my sister, she isn't good at ending conversations. But I'm glad she wants to talk to me.

Happy Mother's Day ! I have mostly recovered from 2 long days of prep, plant sales, and take down of said sale. We went out to eat last night, again. I had a baked potato and was too tired to eat much.

Today we went out for brunch, courtesy of youngest ds, with dh, all 3 of our kids, and 2 grand sons. Ate too much, but it was very good. Once home, I cleaned up the backyard so dh can mow, and I planted a big pot with a mix of purple flowers. I hope the deer leave it alone.

Tomorrow I have a PT appointment at 8, and then no plans. The dogs have been bringing in bits of stick to chew up, so I do need to vacuum up the wee bits. But not tonight. The dogs could use a bath, so if the weather is nice, perhaps I'll tackle that.

Annie, that is sad about the pie. I love lemon meringue. Well to be honest, there aren't many pies I don't like.

Dianah, that is mighty warm.

Joe, good luck with birding. We saw eagles yesterday at the park, soaring and perhaps look for fish in the river.

Tweety, I sympathize with the level of service these days. And sending flower is expensive!

Stars, I hope the gypsies have struck camp and moved on by now.

I will just have to make a pie myself. I like mine better anyway, even though I just use Jello lemon pudding.
