In a couple of days it is supposed to reach 70 degrees as a high.
I am lolling in bed, poking around on-line and watching Momo sleep. Nannie went with SiL around 12:30 PM, but I don't know what time she will be returned. Probably sooner than I would like.
I prolly should do some of my own laundry and clean up my 'parking' spaces, ie where I 'camp', like next to the sofa in the den, and my room upstairs and my old room which is still looking like, well, whatever it looks like, it is not good.
I have nothing exciting or funny to say, just the same old morose, useless complaints that I am tired of reiterating.
Glad you're feeling better, Joe.
Hello, all.
Fairly dull weekend here. I did go in to the hospital last night to try to make sure night shift was able to document the outpatient infusion. I still don't know that we did it exactly the way "they" want us to but it got done and documented. I told them to call me if they have trouble tonight.
Hubs finally got his new lawnmower running again. It wasn't starting and he went through several things to try to fix it but success finally came today. He also added something to the fuel in the convertible that is supposed to clean the catalytic converter. We shall see.
Next week the church is having a chili cook-off.
Since Turbo died, Sam has been more likely to snuggle up to us and I'm enjoying some Sam time right now.
Not much excitement here, either. It snowed a bit last night, melted and then froze, so the road to the diner was a little icy. Wheee! I walked home, very carefully, but it was already warming up and melting. It snowed some more this afternoon, maybe an inch. I read much of the day, and finally finished a book. I did take the dogs for a walk, before the snow started. They seemed to resent that I put their coats on them.
I emailed the claims adjuster for my car insurance to find out when do I get my money!? The sent me the valuation, and it seems reasonable. But where is my money? I've been without a car since Dec. 20 and it's wearing on me. I have no where to go, but I feel a little trapped.
Joe, I am glad you are feeling better. My dogs love pumpkin. I hope your cat will, too.
Annie, your Sam looks like a lover. Give him some scritches from me.
Tweety! Eeeeuuuuwwwww! Gross! I hope you don't 'catch' anything!
I got 2 big slices of the iL's pizzas that they got for supper. They brought the Nannie-person back around 6 PM, and she has been quiet since she got back. Suits me! Twelve minutes until I put her to bed.
I did clean up the kitchen some this afternoon, but I was in such a MOOD for most of the day.
SiL comes over around 8 AM to get Nannie up and take her to daycare. I get to go get her and tote her back around 4:30 PM
I want two cats; a couple of dubber-love-bugs.. Dubber dogs and dubber cats can be wonderful. I guess Momo would have a cow if there were other animals to compete with for my attention, due to her early years in an animal hoarding situation. Nannie wouldn't let me keep a cow in the house, and I'd have to get a LOTS bigger bed.....

Stars glad you will get a break today and congratulations on the weight
Tweety glad being charge wasn't too crazy
NJ22 I wish all the ice and snow would melt here
Went outside yesterday morning but only fairly briefly, very few birds about and trails too icy. Will probably wait until March to start doing that again
Took the cat to the vet for her regular appointment, everything was fine, just had an exam. He recommended, if hairballs remain an issue, to perhaps try Miralax or some canned pumpkin instead of the hairball gel
Met dad for lunch, then came home and did quite a bit of laundry. Rest of the day was relaxing
Today will do cooking before church, then going to church a bit early as I will be assisting minister. Might return later today as our church and another one are doing a combined evening service
Going to be quite warm today for this time of year, think it will get up to 50
