Tweety I don't think I've heard of a 3 day prep for a colonoscopy before

Yesterday was mostly an ordinary Saturday.  Went out bird watching in the morning.  Had lunch with dad in the afternoon.  In the evening hosted the dinner with the over 50 group, almost everyone who signed up showed up.  We talked about doing something different next time, instead of the same restaurant again.  Going to work with one of the group members on different event for next month.  Rest of the day was quiet

Will not be at church today, going to a different church to see my friend D preach.  The service there is later, so I'll have time prior to church to get things like cooking and perhaps laundry done as well.  Will also start some packing and preparations for Friday's trip

Will be considerably warmer today, up to the upper 60s

Thank you for mentioning laundry; I did all of Nannie's, AND the towels I used to sop up the washing machine leakage. Today I have to do MY laundry which will accrue more sopping wet towels after the washer stops. Kind of a ....what's the name of the snake eating its own tail? A word something like uraburu comes to mind....anyway, never-ending is what I mean.

I really should get up and get dressed. I really would like to take a long, hot shower and wash my hair with a 'new' shampoo by Tresemme' called GLOSS. We'll see if my hair goes all glossy and if that's a good thing or it looks ridiculous. But at another time, because alas, right now I need to get ready to get that Nannie-person up and dressed.

For my first colonoscopy 15 years ago, I had that 3 day prep. I had to buy white bread (yuck), ate pasta, rice, and canned chicken. Then full liquids, then clears. 

For the last 2 it was much easier. Avoid corn for a week, no greasy food 2 days before, and then prep the night before and morning of. And There is a specific breakfast you can eat the day before (1 egg, 2 slices of toast with butter,  1 cup coffee with cream, if wanted), then clears. I turned that breakfast into french toast, LOL. For clears I made a box of jello and sipped broth. It wasn't terrible, but that Co-lytely is rough. dh got to take Gatorade with Miralax and 2 doses of MOM. Same practice, I guess he's special.

Hello, friends. Hope all is well. Hubs, Twin B, and I have spent the last few days fighting a humdinger of a virus. Thankful that so far Gma has not been sick. Or Twin A. I am beginning to feel somewhat functional again. Also, the A/C is frozen up so will require attention from the HVAC guy. It has been raining and wet but today is not especially cool. Am I sweating because I'm just too warm or because I have a fever again? 

Tomorrow morning is an online meeting of the RMAG (Risk Managers' Advisory Group). I told Hubs I'm going to start calling them the MAGA group. Not fair, really. I guess. Maybe.

Dianah, I'm going to miss Jo Ann's, too. Our Walmart has a limited supply of fabrics. I suppose Hobby Lobby does, if I could overcome my objections.

Ado, I'm glad you are all starting to feel better (and that Gma didn't get it)!  I hope you all continue to be 'on the mend.'

Re: JoAnn's closing: There is a Michael's nearby and (I think) a Hobby Lobby.  I will have to explore these options.  My friend will often take a trip into the LA fabric district to shop.  I dunno if I am THAT desperate -- yet!

Good evening!

Day 2 of colonoscopy prep is going well but I was agitated much of the day.  Didn't help that it was an aggravating day.  Had a pint of ice cream for dinner. 

Painters came by to finish the spot they missed on the roof while I was at work.  Too dark to tell how they did, but will be glad to have that chapter finally over.

Off for three days.
