Hi! Anyone else impatiently waiting to hear from South Alabama about Summer acceptance?

I still haven't heard anything yet. I emailed in March and I was sent the same email that my application was complete and under review. I just don't understand how we don't know if we are accepted and Summer registration for classes started on April 24?

I just submitted my application for fall 2023. The late deadline is July 14th then 8 weeks after that. I'm not sure if its me but if that is the case I will hear back from them once the semester begins? Did anyone have a problem with timing submitting additional paperwork once accepted due to the little amount of timing if any?

The wait is excruciating so be prepared for that. I think you will hear something sooner since you've applied before the deadline. If you don't hear back until right before the semester starts before they will give you additional time to finish all the requirements. So for example, I didn't find out I was accepted for Summer until like the end of April and started May 31. They gave me until July 18th to finish all the document requirements-vaccinations, physical, certifications which I'm still working on LOL. Hope this helps:-)

@Raquel Sanchez. Wow are you serious you literally found out 4 weeks before the start of the program. I do not like that because you feel rush. I applied for this

Priority Extended Deadline - July 14th

(priority extended deadline July 14th) the submission  is like 6 or 7 weeks before classes start then to wait I will probably hear back in August. From reading this threat and others they keep pushing deadlines but that in a way screws students. Did they email you your acceptance or through regular mail?

Yes and it totally prevents you from being able to plan. They did the same with extending the Summer deadline which I think  they didn't have enough applicants. I got a letter in the mail first and then after a couple of days I got the email with acceptance instructions.
