summer 2015 sharp San Diego new grad program

Published

Hello all....

Just wanted to start a thread for those of us that are applying to sharp San Diego's 2015 summer new grad tn program..... Just to provide support and advice. Good luck all !!!!

Chad.maili0 I did! I have an interview! I'm nervous but excited. This is such a great hospital! I PM'd you by the way

RN_22....

Congrats on your upcoming interview !!! I PM'd you as well. ;)

I applied for CV PCU/TELE/MED SURG/ER rotation, but have heard nothing yet. My status says Under Hiring Dept Review, but has remained the same since 03/26. Has anyone been called for interviews for this particular rotation?

Hey chad.maili0! Hope you're new journey in l&d has been amazing so far! I wanted to ask you how long it took to hear back after your interview? Im still waiting on a response and it's been driving me crazy just staring at my phone these last couple days. I'm starting to lose hope :/ Thanks in advance!

Hi keekster !!!

Well I was called 3 days after I applied. But I know for a fact they are still interviewing !!! Stay positive my friend.

Hey everyone. has anyone had a panel interview yet? I got a call today for a panel interview next week. I am super nervous! any advice would be great

I'm definitely late on in joining in on all of this, but i only applied to L&D at chula vista and Mary Birch at the end of May. My application status still says under consideration, but it sounds like they've already finished up interviews....Anybody know anything???

It takes awhile to get hired at those hospitals my friend waited a year till she got hired at Scripps chula vista she said her job interview was something else your placed in front of a panel of 10 people who ask you all sorts of questions

I got denied from Mary Birch, but Chula Vista still said "under consideration"

I'm not sure if you're still on here or even check this, but I'm planning on applying Monday (the 26th of October) for Sharp CV L&D positions. My question centers around what the "typical" candidate is that has been selected previously. Things like education level, qualifications/certifications, and things like that. For instance, I've heard that Sharp Grossmont tends to favor SDSU grads. Can the same be said for CV? My background is ADN, already began my RN-BSN, ALCS, BLS, NRP, PALS, Basic and Intermediate FHM, Birth and Beyond, and enrolled for the MNNC course beginning January. I applied to Grossmont's L&D New Grad position, but was denied quickly. So, needless to say, a bit of a gut check. I appreciate any input. Also, any advice for cover letters and the supplemental application questions. Guidance on the length and if they are looking for anything specific? I could write a novel as to why I desire Sharp CV as well as why L&D is my calling. I really appreciate any help/guidance.

Hi all, i'm new to this thread. I have an interview coming up with Sharp CV ER new grad program...I was wondering if anyone had any advice or interview question tips? Thanks!
