Thanks for starting the thread! ...So I applied last cycle and I remember it being only one application for all the Sharp Hospitals. For this cycle, do we just apply to the positions we want to be considered for?

Yes its nice that we can apply separately! I applied to chula vista L&D.....all three positions. Has anyone had any app status changes yet ?

I applied to the NICU and yesterday it updated to "under hiring department review." I also applied to CV L&D and it still shows "under consideration" but the date updated. I am not sure what that means but I hope an interview is on it's way. Anyone else get updates?

I applied to all three CV L&D positions only. All of mine say under review by hiring department as of Monday.. The first day I applied. Uuughhh. I have been applying for a year now . I hope we can get an interview !!!! I just finished the maternal newborn nursing course and nrp. ....

Hi chad.maili0, I applied to sharp chula vista OB/GYN. Do you know if they starting calling for interviews in that dept? congrats on landing an interview!

Hi sophiak. Yes I do know that they are in the process of calling candidates for interviews. I can't say that they are done calling people. I got a call at 5 pm on Friday. And I do know the nurse manager is off on the weekends. So she may resume her calls Monday. Keep positive !!!

Thanks, I am crossing my fingers!! Are you interviewing for all positions you applied for or in one specific dept? And do you know how the interview process is like? (solo, group, panel of interviewees, etc) Good luck to you on your interview :)

I applied to all three positions but I am interviewing for labor and delivery. ..... I know for a fact that the interview consist of a panel - unit manager, charge nurse,cns, staff nurses etc. I assuming at least 6 people maybe ? I will keep my fingers crossed for you ! Keep positive sophiak!!
