Summer 2019 Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to know if anyone has applied, waiting, or has been accepted to Phillips School of Nursing Mount Sinai Beth Israel for the Summer 2019 semester. I saw other nursing pages for 2017 and 2018 but no ongoing active one for the 2019 semester. Just wanted to connect with some more people on this site regarding the program.

Hi guys, for those in the Summer 2019 cohort, did you start the pre-immersion program today? Does it take place at the school or is it online?

Yes I heard the program is hybrid. Mixture of online and in person. So we would have to make sure we stay on top of the classes especially online ones.

Hi I’m Carmen and I’m in the summer 2019 program.

are you guys buying a book for the pre immersion program? I emailed the professor and she said we should but the prompts are due next week so we won’t have time for a book.

who is buying a book? And who isn’t??

Hi Carmen! I wish you the best of luck as you begin the program. Im not sure if you know this yet but do you have any idea of how many days a week you will have physical in class lecture? I was wondering how "hybrid"
things are. Any feedback is appreciated @Cvgh721 !

Hi Carmen! I bought the book on Amazon and it came today! I know that you can also rent it through amazon prime. And there is a kindle version. It seems like the content is helpful so far but not entirely necessary to complete assignments.
