Hi everyone,
How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
If I get in, and I do end up at JHU, I was actually thinking about 929 if only because of the front desk person, and the proximity to the nursing school and the hospital. There's also another building like it that's less expensive, but I can't remember the name off of the top of my head... they waived deposits for nursing students, from what I remember. I will post if I can find it again!
This was it! I remember thinking that it was less than 929, but I guess its not that much less... Standard

@fingerscross'd they said regular decision people will hear back no later than march 1st. They also said it wasnt rolling admissions, although i thought one of the admissions officers told me it was. I'm pretty disappointed with all the mix messages that they've been giving me..
I agree! Lots of mixed messages. I was also told it was rolling and after my interview i was told I'd get a decision between 4 to 6 weeks and now they're saying March. I guess I don't mind March because that's when I'll hear from Duke too but it didn't give me a good impression of them (being so disorganized!)
Off topic for acceptance but check out this link. It has a lot of nurses from John Hopkins talking about their experiences in nursing in all different clinical settings. The nurses were interviewed. If you hover over their picture you will see where they work and what field. Thought it was cool. The first one I watched talked about bringing tele health into as she said "the third world country" 8 blocks from John Hopkins Hospital! Enjoy!

Sheesh! Those are spendy - especially if you want to live on your own. At this point, I think I might like to live in the Mt Vernon neighborhood so I've been looking at apartments there.
