How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.
Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right?
FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.
I received this email several weeks ago from JHU. Hopefully this clears up confusion with the decision deadlines. I was told that the Financial Aid deadline = deadline for decisions.
I'm confused. Is that for early decision applicants? We were told yesterday in the chat that if we applied for regular decision, we would hear by March 1st.
I agree with everything that was already discussed regarding yesterday's chat. I also felt that they were not answering questions to the fullest of their capabilities, or not reading the questions we were asking carefully... if they didn't know the answers to our questions, that's definitely troublesome because most of them seemed very basic, but I don't think that was it. I think a lot of it was they just didn't want to go into much detail.
That's exactly what it says. If you read each line all the way across you will see that for both summer and fall ABSN you will hear back on March 1st...
No problem! I thought everyone received this email, but I guess not. It makes more sense when you can see the lines...right now everything is just smooshed together.
Got the official letter yesterday with a one page financial aid document. They asked to email or fax by Jan 1st so they can give an estimate of funds. Now this is going to be rough haha.
About the apartments as some of you were discussing, I did look at 929 online, nice but so pricey. I also go on craigslist like everyday lol to see if I can find anything better & cheaper. But I guess until we actually see the area..we wouldn't know how far are those places actually. I would like something where I can walk from or take a johns hopkins shuttle since I won't be having a car. Keep everyone posted if anyone finds something better.
Meep05 & kdiem,Have you checked your online application to make sure they have your email address listed correctly? It maybe its going to your spam/junk mail?
It kind of sucks that regular decision for summer and fall hear at the same time. Finding out in March when school starts in May is super inconvenient. I would need a lot more time than that to get my affairs in order, find housing, moving across the country, etc. I think they should definitely tell summer starts earlier...
