Hi everyone, unfortunately I need some suggestions on what to do. I guess I should start by telling you that I have failed the NCLEX-RN twice now and I need to figure out which books or programs are the best to aid me in passing this time. The first time I took the NCLEX I used NCLEX-RN made incredibly easy and a other sources for questions and did approximately 3500 questions and failed with 82 questions. The second time I used Saunders Comprehensive Review, I got through about 75% of the book. I failed with 265 questions.
What do you suggest, I have heard lots of people say the Saunders Comprehensive that I have, I have also heard that the Kaplan Online program is good and the Mosby's CAT is a good source of questions. My question, is the Kaplan Online program worth the money? Do I pay the $400 or do I try other sources?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I don't know what to do!!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Heather

I would definately listen to Suzanne and do Saunders all over with the questions. I had a few questions that came out word for word from Saunders. I took Kaplan and it is not worth the money. If you can get the cd trainer from Kaplan that should be enough. I would definately not pay for Kaplan. Since the ncbsn cost less I would try it out.
Keep faith and just start anew.
listen to suzanne ithink saunders helped alotby doing 100 or so questions a day! alsothe NCSBN review course on learning.ext is alsoreally helpfultobrush upon knowledge and do questions as well i thouhgt theyre questions resembled nclex themost but sauders definetly helped me critical think more. ucan purchase the ncsbn review for 4 weeks at 49 dollars a pretty good price or 7 weeks at 80 dollars. i usedthat and saunders comprhensive and saunders strategiesfor success and ipassed. GOOD LUCK
Thanks Nicole for the information, I will check out NCSBN and see what they have to offer.

Thank you Nursing 101 for the info, especially the Kaplan part. Yes, I plan on listening to Suzanne, she is a very caring and amazing woman to help guide my learning.
