  1. Thank you Nursing 101 for the info, especially the Kaplan part. Yes, I plan on listening to Suzanne, she is a very caring and amazing woman to help guide my learning. Heather
  2. Thanks Nicole for the information, I will check out NCSBN and see what they have to offer. Heather

  4. Hi everyone, unfortunately I need some suggestions on what to do. I guess I should start by telling you that I have failed the NCLEX-RN twice now and I need to figure out which books or programs are the best to aid me in passing this time. The first time I took the NCLEX I used NCLEX-RN made incredibly easy and a other sources for questions and did approximately 3500 questions and failed with 82 questions. The second time I used Saunders Comprehensive Review, I got through about 75% of the book. I failed with 265 questions. What do you suggest, I have heard lots of people say the Saunders Comprehensive that I have, I have also heard that the Kaplan Online program is good and the Mosby's CAT is a good source of questions. My question, is the Kaplan Online program worth the money? Do I pay the $400 or do I try other sources? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I don't know what to do!!!!! Thanks in advance, Heather
  5. Unfortunately my college, Kirkwood Community College does not have a L&D rotation planned for us. That really stinks because that is the area I want to go into. I was in the skilled nursing floor for my rotation. Heather, SN
  6. I live in Hiawatha, that is a suburb of Cedar Rapids. I am in nursing school right now. Actually I am doing my clinical rotation at Mercy in Cedar Rapids, this next weekend is the end of that rotation and after that I will be at St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids. I have really enjoyed my time at Mercy. Good luck to you in your move and new job. Heather, SN
