Suggestions for Graduation presents?

My pinning is next week and my family has been asking me for suggestions for gifts to buy me. I already asked for a Littmann but i cant think of anything besides money for my student loan lol My boyfriend asked if a Kindle fire would be helpful but im not sure. Im starting a BSN program in september and just completed the RN program. Thanks I appreciate any suggestions!

i know asking for money is weird. What if you asked for gift cards for stuff you would buy yourself, but would be weird for gifts?

Gas station? grocery store? Amazon? Local scrub store?

I would say gift cards for:

new clinical shoes

scrubs

office supplies (new notebooks and nice pens for example to start you off for BSN school)

gas for car

amazon (for books)

Nursing Students don't SPLURGE too much IMO. If there is something you've really been wanting ... then ask for that! It's a BIG DEAL to complete nursing school and you should ask for something you really want!

Some little nursing thing would be cute, you know the stuff you see online-mugs and stuff. Also, something I would love would be a subscription to a professional nursing magazine because it will keep you up to date and have things for ce credits. Money towards a new steth would be awesome or family members going in on it together. A hope for a Littman Cardiology, lol I think I already have my ideas for myself even though I still have 2 semesters left! A gift certificate or cash to help you pay for your NCLEX. Flowers, I love flowers. I don't know my family usually does cash and flowers :) By the way-CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Congrats on your accomplishment. I agree with the above - gift cards are fabulous. Maybe a few family members could go in together. Mine gave me a dinner after the ceremony and I was so tired I went to sleep waiting for it to be served!

Hey, just found a cool NURSING STUFF website that's pretty cool. Lots of designs, and when you click on one you like, there are like 50 things they print it on... mugs, shirts, caps, framed prints, calendars, aprons, etc. Pretty cute some of them are!

Congrats on graduating! My sister in law just had her pinning Saturday and I gave her basket full of stuff she could use as a nurse like pens, hand sanitizers, lotion, mini notebooks, clipboard, tylenol, pony tail holders, tissues, and stuff like that. She really liked it.

Gift certificates to scrub shops- or scrubs. Gift certificate to a shoe store so you can get a nice new pair of sneakers. Since you'll be going back to school, Amazon.com gift cards are good to help you save for books.
