Suffolk County Community College (Summer Classes?)

SO I just got accepted YAY! I was wondering if there is anyone who has taken Health Assessment over the summer? I'd like to do this, to avoid taking 2 classes next Spring. I was wondering if its a doable class in just 9 days?

Also, If there is anyone else who got in for Fall 09..say Hi!

Congrats! I applied to Suffolk Community as a back up incase I was not accepted into Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Program, funny thing is I was accepted into Stony Brook's one year bachelor's program and rejected from Suffolk!!

Yeah, suffolk is so competitive its ridiculous. Are you in the accelerated program for this year? My Cousins girlfriend got into that one too! CONGRATS!! GOOD LUCK!!

Yes I am in the accelerated program for this year :) Thanks! All the programs in NY are so competitive, it's just funny how a person can be a qualified applicant to one and not the other! Good example of not putting your eggs into one basket!! :)

I got into Suffolk Ammerman days but don't know about taking assesment over the summer. I am still waiting for my letter from Stony Brook 2 yr.

I am able to take assessment over the summer, I just signed up today. Yay..one class will be done. It will make the Spring semester more bearable.

Good luck with SBU...where would you RATHER end up? At SBU I would guess so you can have your BA?

Yes, SBU, Suffolk was a back up plan just incase I wasn't accepted into Stony Brook. I already have a BS degree, so with the one year Accelerated Program, I will finish with a second bachelor's degree in nursing :)

well good luck, I hope you get in!!I needed a part time night program..so suffolk was my only chance, I had no back up plan at all, LOL SO I guess I am glad it worked!

I'm still waiting for my letter from SCCC but I was accepted to Farmingdale and NCC and I'm probably going to go to Farmingdale. Congrats!!!!

Now youll have to let us know if you get into SCCC or not...would be interesting to see, since you got into TWO OTHER SCHOOLS!

Hey guys got my acceptance letter today for SCCC as well. However, I don't think I am attending. I am still having a toss up between NCC and Farmingdale. Farmingdale I am all registered for and done, NCC the orientation is May 18th. But SCCC is asking for $100 non refundable right away, and the orientation isn't even until June 16th so I am not really feeling that. But good luck and congratulations to everyone else!
