Hi,
anyone out there applying for the fall 2018 program at Suffolk?
hey guys. I called admissions today, asked for an idea of when we'd get letters in the mail and was told "within the month" by a woman in central admissions. I then asked if she could let me know that they received all of my information just to be sure, but she said she did not have access to it so she transferred me to Rita and I didn't give central admissions my info. Rita answered the phone, I asked her if she could please let me know that they've received my information for admissions to the nursing program, she quickly asked, "what's your name?" I told her, and without putting me on hold or hesitating she said "yes we have it, we have everything, you'll hear within the month" ........... not sure if she truly knows my name lol or if that was her rushing me off the phone but they seem pretty annoyed by all the phone calls so I'm gonna just relax until April 1st I suppose.
They deal with this every single year. If they were that annoyed then they should come up with a better system and a date. All letters will be sent out by ..... March 10th etc. that way everyone in admissions has a date to relay and everyone applying knows when to expect a lettter by. People are waiting to answer other schools or come up with back up plans. It's ridiculous
yeah, definitely frustrating. I haven't applied to any other schools yet but I am waiting to make a decision about going PT at work and I am obviously not going to if I don't get in! I just want to know ... I have the informed delivery also ... does it really show a big envelope when/if it comes? LOL I just can't picture it ..

Honestly, I feel as if noone actually knows what their talking about & is just giving random answers to everyone that calls to get them off the line quicker. Its so frustrating that everyone cant give out the same answer as to when the letters go out. If you dont know when they go out, say that. if you do , let us know. Its that simple.
