Hey guys, I found this page in attempt to find out when the letters go out. I just checked the schools website and they posted priority registration begins April 9th. I guess the wait is longer compared to last year.

Those dates for normal registration are totally separate from their RN program. We'll get a separate deadline in our acceptance letters (hopefully) that states when our deposit and decision are due. Usually it's very short notice. At least that's how it's been in past years. But who knows. They do things very odd.

How long after acceptance letters do we have the seminar for the stony brook bridge program? Then we have to wait to hear back about that too

I didn't think we would actually get it mid-march/early april, i was hoping earlier but thats what it's looking like:down:

So 2017 got theirs super early-first few days of march. However, 2016 got theirs march 11th... so that's the next date I'm focusing (hoping) for. It would be crazy to be behind the dates for the last two years and yet at seminars tell people you're hoping to get them out even earlier this year....

I was really hoping they'd hold the same mailing schedule as last year This wait is rough. The forum for the Part Time Spring 2018 didn't get letters back until mid to late October ( after saying end Sept/early Oct). I just don't understand the delay if its so cut and dry by the rubric, there has to be something else they do as part of the selecting process. I don't even have class until next Thursday, but I'll go ask in person and see what they say. Hopefully we get something before then, fingers crossed !

Sooooo... I just called for an update on the timeline. I explained that I have other program and scholarship application deadlines coming up, and mentioned that past years' applicants had already received their letters by now, with deposits due mid-March. I was told that the letters would be going out LATE MARCH/EARLY APRIL!?!?!?!?!?! Ugh.

Exactly! That's what is so frustrating. If they hd to read essays and look at letters of recommendations etc I would understand. They claim it's a super simple rubric. It shouldn't take them long. Especially since they don't have many programs that you have to be "accepted" into. I just wish they had a definitive date. All letters will be out on or by march 21st for example. It would cause them and us a lot less frustration and phone calls.

I have 1 letter form suffolk! but it is a small one, so I guess its denial....
