Stupid question...

Have you ever been sure about a topic and then someone asks a question that totally makes you start questioning your certainty on said topic? That's the kind of morning I'm having. So here's my stupid question that I need some reassurance on...

For your returning students, do you require brand new medication authorization forms at the beginning of each school year?

I mean, clearly new ones are required for any changes in their medications or emergency plans, but I had a parent ask if they would have to fill new forms out if nothing is going to change for the next school year.

Thanks for the help!

Required by law every year here too.

And don't feel bad, I just had a parent give me a hard time about it, even though she has gotten the order renewed yearly for the past 4 years, As required. All of a sudden it's a problem. :sarcastic:

New forms, every year. After explaining enough times, until I am sure the parent understands what the policy for medication administration is. If they still are giving me heck, I point out to them very clearly that they are more than welcome to come to school and give their child the medication.
