Studying nursing with a pending DUI charge

Hi there, 

im wondering if any Canadian nurses on here could give me an advice or wouldn’t mind sharing their experience... Long story short, I got charged with a DUI a few months in before getting accepted into nursing school in Ontario. I truly regret what happened, I took the wrong the decision to drive after having a couple of drinks. I will need to provide a Vulnerable screening police check  in about a month and I’m really concerned about having problems with clinical placement since it will show as a DUI pending charge. I know that this does not represent my behaviour but it is really heartbreaking. If anyone knows anything please let me know.
