Hey I am making this forum for anyone who wants to discuss applying to the Spring 2016 SHSU nursing school!
I got my acceptance email from Texas Woman's and have until the 28th to accept or decline but I am hoping Sam sends out their emails soon because that is my first choice (being that it's far more convenient). Good luck to everyone! And I'm hoping Sam was not the only school that people applied for since they have such a limited amount of seats (40), whereas most other schools take in anywhere from 90-120 students per cohort. Hoping to hear from them soon. Fingers crossed, everyone!

Has anyone heard anything from the advisors yet? Last semester, it took a little less than a month after deadlines to get the email. Unfortunately, I was denied (3.2 GPA and an 85% on TEAS) I reapplied with the same stats, but am currently retaking two courses in case I don't get in once again. The advisor told me that last semester had unusually high scores with an average of 3.78 as a GPA and an 82% on the TEAS. I'm assuming fall is more competitive due to most people being on track to apply at that point if they started school straight out of high school. It would be nice to know how many people applied to each campus and what the average scores were since we are well past the deadline and all scores should have been tallied by now.
