Help with CRNA admissions

Hi! I am currently a Junior in the nursing program (William Jewell College), I wanted to hear from CRNA/SRNA about their experience in the application process. I have a terrible gpa of 3.133, all of my nursing classes are good B's and A's and science gpa is 3.25. I don't know if the school is going to consider the terrible grades I had in writing classes, history, and philosophy. This semester (Fall of Junior year) I will finish up this semester with a 3.57gpa with 3 semesters ahead of me. I don't know how bad they stress the last 60 hours of school... I was talking to an SRNA and she told me that they do take into consideration that you are young and immature and if you show that you are capable of doing excellent later you should have no problem. I am 19 years old. Please help me. What do I need to do for Nurse anesthesia school? gpa, gre, icu, credentials/certifications,...

I'm pretty sure you need a BS in Nursing, 1 year experience as an ICU RN. Your GPA probably depends on the program and how many applicants. While in school you must maintain (I think) 84%. 19 years old, are you sure this is what you want to do? It's great bucks, but personally,I would experience nursing first before deciding.

That GPA won't keep you out of a program, keep working hard, and get some solid ICU experience-2to 3 years, and you'll be fine.
