2018-2019 Student LPN Roll Call

Hi everyone! I will be starting my LPN classes on Monday 4/2/2018. I'm both excited and nervous! Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Let's keep each other encouraged, I got a feeling I'm going to need it!!:)

Hello all future nurses!!! I am scheduled to begin the LVN program July 3rd, I passed my entrance exams in the 90%'s on the first try. I am nervous and excited. I work full time but my work allows employees take off 4 hours early per week if we need to for school (paid time away by the way) so I will be working 36hrs/week and school part time. I also have 3 kids and a husband =S I'm nervous but I have put off my education long enough and right now is the perfect time to pick up where I left off. Good luck to everyone who just began and to those of us who are soon starting! BTW I am currently working as a Certified Medical Assistant and have been in the field since 2006.. hopefully all of my hands-on and exposure to the field help me get through school !!!

Hi Guys, Iv'e been accepted and start my Practical Nursing program in august. I am so nervous because I plan on quitting my job and focus on this program. Good Luck to you all.

I start at ACC Los Angeles on July 9,2018. Orientation is June 27 and 28. I can't wait.

I start SWCCD LVN program (San Diego, CA) in August. Orientation is July 9th. Were the costs for books and what not very high for your schools?

Tuition $34,900 App Fee $75 Fees $1,600 (This include items such as customized uniforms, classroom consumables, Spanish Medical Terminology resources, administrative and technology fees. For clinical and degree programs, it also includes fees associated with health and background screenings, test preparation, examinations, licensure and certification.) Books and Supplies $950 (This includes books and a laptop.) The total cash price would be $37,525.

I have been accepted into Nursing school I was told that I was accepted today. The admissions office said that they would be sending acceptance letters out the end of this month. I will be starting class on October 29, 2018. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I want to wish everyone else who will be starting their nursing program this Fall much success.

Hi all! I started classes in May and I'm currently 3 months in. I'm in my first semester. I'm doing well so far but I know the work will pick up after this semester. I'm in an evening program and it will take 22 months. I'm currently taking A&P I and Fundamentals. I'm also in clinicals.

Congratulations on being accepted into the program!! Try to enjoy every minute of it, the time goes by so fast! I can't believe I'm one week away from my 5th term! It seems like I just started, but I have learned so much.
