Showing this image to an unknown to me at the time, Arts Council board member, landed me an offer for a paying job teaching a one night a week arts class.

I applied & completed a proposal for an "Autobiographical Comics Class" via email, which was accepted. Immediately, four 20x22" works were done for display and teaching purposes. There are now eight, which all are in various stages of completion, the majority merely require tweaking.

I received the announcement banner, which includes some comics I submitted as examples, via email today. I believe one participant has signed up already and the board member said the show goes on, even if only one person registers.

Of course I would do it even if one person showed up! although I hope there will be more- To get to discuss and make art with like souls is an exciting proposition.

But any excuse to art, to be inspired to create, is really what it's all about.
