One of the members on the Old Folks Forums posted this with the Thread titled "Any Cartoonists Out There?"
My virtual friend and cartoonist, Gary, called my attention to it.
I also made some GIFs.
One of my virtual friends, Dustbunny, made this GIF with a link and a couple of pointers:
Just now, Dustbunny submitted this outstandingly funny animation:

My first thought was that someone has too much time on their hands but they are actually quite brilliant.
Keep up the good work Davey.
PS
I've noticed that you cant do a smiley/laughing reaction now, only an upvote. A few of those did make me laugh.
Thanks for the continued support and the comment, Grumpy.
The comment, "someone has too much time on their hands" has been said to me several times before, as if being an artist, illustrator, or cartoonist is using time which could be spent doing something better.
I take little offense at it, since I believe the vast majority of people waste their time being entertained by, and receiving external gratification from, preprogrammed devices which have a finite number of possibilities. And, in the end, they either win or lose, like or dislike the process, with nothing tangible or of real value to show from it.
With art, the possibilities are infinite, the process is always satisfying, anything can be inspiration to create, and there's the tangible expression as a result of the process.
One allnurses member once asked me, "How do you come up with these?" and I replied, "How can I not?" Art is in my blood and it's who I am.
End of monoloque. And, thanks for the brilliant comment, Grumpy.

My apologies if I came over as being rude, that was not my intent. I was trying (in my poor way) to be a bit funny and putting in a bit of silliness.
I have some slight understanding of the amount of work and thought that goes into these things - my wife does a bit of art. (Nothing on the scale of the amount that you do - she really just dabbles)

I remember reading about one author (I don't remember which one) who said that "he leaves food out overnight and the ideas arrive on his stoop in the morning." Also remember reading about another author who's reply to that question was; "I wish I could stop them sometimes".
Again I apologise for any misunderstanding and any offence I have caused. It was completely and totally unintentional. I hope you can put it down to British humour.
Please continue to entertain us with your drawings and cartoons, I look forward to seeing what is next.
No offense taken, @GrumpyRN, your validation speaks for itself, and is always appreciated. We've been virtual friends long enough that I can feel free to comment on your comment without needing to be careful you're a not Snowflake in wolf's clothing.
One of the many reasons I enjoy discussing art with like minds such as yours is that it's inspirational for fodder.
Again, thank you for you comments and support.
Hey @GrumpyRN!
Ever hear of these guys?

I think they were some obscure band that was around when I was younger. I believe they visited my city in 1963 and 1964. Wonder what became of them?
🤣🤣😂😂
Just had a thought...
Did they not have a small hit with a song called, "Paperclip Writer"?
FUNNY!
Had a chat with a young nurse about the Beatles, and she asked, "There was four of them, wasn't there?"
