Your exam is scored twice within a 24 hour after completion of the test. If your first scoring was a 'fail', it would take your money and you think you failed. If the SECOND scoring is ALSO a 'fail', then.....that's that. If your second scoring is a 'pass', then you will have thrown away $200 for no particular reason, and suffered the feeling of failure in the meantime.
Most of the time, the scores do match. Sometimes, they do not, and only the second score is the one that matters.
If you JUST did the PVT, the results are final. If you did it before 24 hours passed, however, your final results might be different...or the same.
Does your State participate in Quick Results? THOSE are official.
I live in Cali and we don't have that quick result here... I just want to see my result already. And I've called Pearson vue and they said that I can't get my money back even if I passed... I just don't know what to do anymore...I took my exam @1pm and I did the trick @ 10pm that nightt
Well....there isn't anything TO "do" at this point. You put your credit card info in, and authorized payment. You will not get a refund if you passed, you AGREED to that charge. And if you read what I just wrote to you in the post above this one, you'll see I explained the time frame already. You tried to find out results too early.
At this point, either you failed for sure (second scoring is also a fail) and the money you spent will be needed anyway to set up your next NCLEX exam. OR you passed, will be happy to have passed the second scoring, but will have thrown $200 out the window.
Good luck!
Hi does anybody here took the nclex pn and the computer shut off at 125 questions?
Yes. Surely you don't think there has been NO ONE taking this test that has ever had 125 questions....?
People have failed at every single possible number of questions, and passed with every single possible number of questions. 125 questions means nothing.
