Please help me with this..been getting a lot of orders on the floor for stool for OB and I have a feeling
that many nurses does not know exactly how to read the result.
Especially the pt's who takes iron supplements
their stool is black and the result of the testing color is black makes it tricky. It doesn't have to be blue for it to be read as + right and if you know a link where I can check those images I would be much grateful.

As stated in the OP, iron supplements. Many pregnant patients take them, and it can color the stool black.
