Stony Brook University NP Summer 2023

I wanted to start this forum for future applicants to discuss future school plans. I applied for the FNP that starts Summer 2023, just awaiting to see how the process goes.

Hey everyone, still nothing...I check my email like every hour on pins and needles, it's so frustrating!!! The deadline was 11/9 for the acute care NP, so 1/9 is 6 weeks....what is taking soooooo long :(

I've never applied to school before and waited this long for an answer. They said 6-8 weeks after the deadline. 8 weeks was 1/9. I don't know ??‍♀️

In my interview they told us we should hear by March

Just to confirm all of you have already interviewed? Or waiting to interview?

I interviewed in November

Just spoke to the nursing department, they're still going through applications for the interview. Keep checking your emails is what I was told.

Interesting maybe they had a lot of interviews to go through this year. They also did it a month earlier for whatever reason. Guess we ll just have to wait. Good luck everyone
