Starting a thread for Stony Brook University's Basic BSN Program, Fall 2021 cohort!

I'm having the same issue as well. I'm going to reach out to them via email

Probably not. I'm only paying the $150 as of right now, that's all they mention in the acceptance letter anyways.

Where does it say that? I am reading my letter and it doesn't mention anything about set specific amount. 

 

Also I emailed(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) about payment issue in Solar.

It said it towards the bottom of the letter, second to last sentence. "To secure your spot, you must also pay the required $150 tuition deposit. The link to pay the tuition deposit is found in SOLAR, New Student section."

I'm referring to the letter that you access from your application portal update, not the one in SOLAR. Sorry, should've been more specific LOL

I am also confused because the letter on the application portal mentions nothing about a tuition deposit. I am wondering if this is because I am already currently a Stony Brook student? Also I have received no further email after accepting on both the portal and Solar. Is that the case for everyone else?

Ice not received anything either after accepting. Are we supposed to right away?

I just emailed the health sciences department regarding further instructions and detail after acceptance. If anyone has any new info please feel free to share

That makes sense. I'm a transfer student so that's probably why. I guess thats why it said it was under the "New Student" section.

I was accepted as well and I am a confused about the deposits as well. I am already a current stony brook student and the end of my letter didn't mention anything about the tuition deposit, but my solar account is showing a "New Student" section. I just figured the "New Student" section meant as in that I am a new student to the school of nursing.

It says this on solar when trying to pay the deposit: "The Electronic Check and Credit Card processors are currently offline for routine maintenance and refunding.  Please try again in approximately one hour."

Well update.  I got my acceptance last week and I accepted for fall 2021. So by this time u would know if u got accepted or not. Does anyone else get accepted? If so do you know how our classes will be?
