Im applying this week, waiting on a letter of recc,

Have you received an email for interview yet?

Nope, not yet. They just sent out decisions for the ABSN so I have a feeling we might not hear anything for a while.

I understand now.

I noticed not too many people posted about the FALL 2021 program, so please post any update if you get any

No problem!

according to last year’s thread, interview invites didn’t go out until the end of the first week of Feb. The ABSN decisions were also very delayed last year too, which I think factored into the delay in sending out the BBSN interview invites.

In addition to COVID-19 makes sense.

But good luck, hopefully we hear soon

Good morning, I don’t mean to be annoying, but do you have any update?

Hi everyone! :)

If you all don’t mind me asking what’s everyone’s GPA and background?

Hi! My cumulative and pre-req GPAs are both 3.4. I majored in Neuroscience in undergrad. I currently work at MSKCC as a clinical research associate on the bone marrow transplant team. I don't have direct patient care experience, but I work in our clinic once a month and consent our patients to research studies. Also no volunteer experience recently, the ER I was supposed to volunteer in cancelled their program due to COVID.

I just finished all my prerequisites  at Suffolk this fall 2020. I have been working as a certified nurse assistant at Good Samaritan  hospital for the past 3 years. And as for my GPA it’s a 3.6

Hey! I graduated from SBU with a BS in bio and a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and 3.7 GPA for prereqs. I currently work as a clinical research coordinator in a Neurology office consenting patients, doing blood draws, conducting patient visits etc. I also do big data abstract write ups/stats work. I don’t have any volunteer experience in the medical field but for environmental research as an undergrad.

I hope we all hear back soon!

Hi all! I emailed(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) in admissions to alert her that I had uploaded an updated resume to my application and asked if there is an interview process/when will that begin. She said invites will be sent out the week of Feb. 8th!
