Hello everyone, I'm currently in the Stony Brook accelerated (1 year) program and here to help with questions you might have. It was useful for me to look at the thread from last year when I was applying so I wanted to get one started for all of you. Feel free to post questions or message me. I hope this is helpful.

Received an email this morning for an interview. I'm so happy and relieved. Now I can start to get nervous for my interview haha

Hey guys! Just got an email for an interview this morning scheduled for November 4th at 10am! so excited!! Only 30% of all applicants get an interview. Congratulations to all who applied and got an interview so excited to see how this turns out. We are now in the pool where only 40% get in. Best of luck to everyone!!!

Does anyone know when they're done sending out emails for interviews?

also, how big are the groups for the interviews? Any interview tips?

Sounds like everyone who got interviews received an email, and who ever just got a Solar log in, hasn't heard anything back about an interview. Everyone else see this pattern??? Worried.....

On the same day? Did you get the invitation for the interview through SOLAR? I got my SOLAR log in on saturday morning and have been checking it non stop ever since! lol Nervous.....

They send you an email with the invitation to schedule an interview, not through SOLAR

Hi,

thanks for starting the thread. I applied October 3rd and so far I only received the email saying to check the application for status of submitted documents I'm still hoping to see an interview message soon. I wanted to knw what to expect in the group interview and if the placement test was given at the time of the interview or after being admitted?

I applied September 27 and haven't heard anything besides the email on how to check application status. So nervous! But after reading this forum I did find my SOLAR information in my spam email from the 14th!! So if you haven't gotten SOLAR information check your spam!
