Hello everyone, I'm currently in the Stony Brook accelerated (1 year) program and here to help with questions you might have. It was useful for me to look at the thread from last year when I was applying so I wanted to get one started for all of you. Feel free to post questions or message me. I hope this is helpful.

I also got an e-mail for my SOLAR ID. I was wondering if it says for anyone else that their reference report forms have not been received?

Yes. Mine says the same thing. Admissions told me to ignore what it says on SOLAR and to go by what it says on the page we submitted our applications. SOLAR takes a while to update.

Hey everyone! I didn't actually receive any SOLAR information but received an email about using the site we actually submitted our apps on. Don't know what thats about but whatever lol, I also am scheduled for an interview at 2pm on November 1st!

Does anyone know what the basic math test will be like? And how many people are actually a part of your group interview? Thanks!

Hi I put in my application and was asked to come in for an interview. I was wondering if you can provide some insight about what type math was in the placement exam. It's been challenging to get a straight foward answer. I would really appreciate it.

I got an interview e-mail but I didn't receive any SOLAR info. I talked to someone who went through the program and she said don't worry if anyone hasn't received SOLAR info. SB can take a while to get things in order.

Did anyone get "Check Your Documents Status" email? I received that but not a SOLAR log-in.

I received that e-mail. Don't worry about SOLAR. The e-mail was saying to check the documents on the website where you submitted your application. SOLAR is not working properly so you don't need to bother with that as of yet.

I just received an email for an interview! Scheduled for November 4th at 9:00!!
