Anyone else having deposit issues? I paid with a credit card, and the transaction shows up on my bank statement, but hasn't processed on Solar yet.

This happened to me, I guess it takes a while to update in solar. The same way the unofficial transcripts and other documents submitted with the application didn't reflect right away in solar.

I'm planning to, all my financial aid went to undergrad :/ I plan to save as much as I can to offset the amount of loans I'd need. My transition from HS to CUNY was pretty smooth so this entire process is very new to me, I'm unsure of where to start. I feel like I need an orientation just to navigate through Solar lol.

Guys!!! I was accepted! I still haven't received an email from Stony Brook, but I just checked my Solar and there it was. I can't believe it... I'm still so nervous!

I actually went and spoke with someone from the hsc financial aid office today. From what I understand we're only eligble for a max of 12500 in federal loans and the rest we would have to take out privately. Were considered 5th year other on the FAFSA. Kind of stinks since I didn't have to take out any loans the first time around.

Now that the stress of applying and waiting to get into this program is over, the stress of how im paying for my education kicks in lol. I never had to take out loans either but I hear such horror stories about loan debt it makes me nervous.

After we accept the offer on SOLAR and pay the deposit, is there anything else we need to do.

I know we need to send official transcripts. When do we do that?

You send the official transcript when you're done with the prereqs. If you've finished then you're good to go! I have to wait till this semester ends.
