Hi everyone...I am new to this website, I just applied for the SBU accelerated program and received a call to schedule an interview. Does anyone know what this interview entails? It is a group of 5 prospective students and 5 faculty members...

Interviews seem to be a new thing the school is doing, as previous classes did not have this requirement. Good luck though!

Hey MTB12, I just received a call for an interview as well. I do remember from an info session that we might be required to do a writing sample while we are there. Do you know if they are interviewing everyone who applies?

Dlam, this is the FIRST year that Stony Brook is interviewing applicants along with giving math and writing tests. I did not have this when I was applying, so I cant give you any advice about it, sorry.

This was my first time applying to stony brook and I was wondering if we have to send our official transcripts right away or do we have to wait until the school e-mails us to do so? The info from SB website and student services are telling me diff. things >
