Thanks, guys! Stony Brook was the ONLY school to reject to me, so I'm still feeling pretty good! It's nice to have the closure though, and to know for sure where I am heading to school in the fall. I feel like the past few weeks were just so stressful, knowing is just so much anxiety gone! I hope everyone else finds out sooner than later!!
Shucks to Dollface, chele and everyone else who did not get in ... I know how hard you guys tried AND waited for this! Been watching on the sidelines, and I have been frustrated with your wait too.
For those of you on a waitlist, I do know of a couple of people that were accepted into the ABSN that were also accepted into the 2-year (not sure how that happened, or whether that should have happened, i.e., dropped their app for the 2-year when they got into the ABSN ... but anyway). I am confident they will be rejecting those offers and sticking with the ABSN, so you know at least some seats will open up in that class ... OR perhaps it could go the other way, preferring the 2-year pace over the ABSN and they drop that instead? Who knows now?
Good luck everyone wherever you go, even if that means applying to SBU again. Don't give up on nursing if it's what you are destined to do!
BioD I wrote on the other blog that I did not get my acceptance email for a day or two after they started comeing out. Perhaps I had a kink in my internet cable that slowed it down???? Best of luck to all, kudos to your patience!
my only hope now is getting off the alternate list and into the 1 year, otherwise it's do this all over again for next year!!!! And this is the second year in a row I applied to both programs.
