Stony Brook Accelerated BSN class of 2013

Hey all! Just wanted to lend my support to anyone else who is applying to SB next summer! It's a grueling process :-)):yeah:

Does anybody know how we will be notified of decisions for the 2 year program? Is it still through e-mail/SOLAR like the one year or is it going to just be through mail?

Stonybrook is obviously my first choice when I start applying to schools this fall.. I will be applying to a few others as back up do any of you know anything about Molloy good or bad?

In my opinion Molloy is bad just for the fact you can only complete a BSN in 3 years. And that is after you have taken all the preques. So that is an extra year you will be paying for. According to them the program cannot be completed in two years because they don't want their students to feel overwhelmed. I'm calling BS.

On the other hand, I heard the program is very good, good job placement and good teachers.

I was told if you take physiology you have to have a lab component with it. They are starting to add more requirements check their website

Well guys, it's April. I hope everyone who was waitlisted finds happy news soon and for those of us waiting on decisions for the 2 year program, we should certainly be hearing back any day now! ahh!

Yes, let's hope some news comes soon! I'd love to know what I'll be doing in five months' time... Would love to know I get to quit my job, lol!

Hey guys! Yeahhhh, being as that we didnt win the MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT, i hope we get luckier with these acceptances!! Hang in there everybody, and remember to breatheeeee. Hopefully the wait will be over soon. :eek:

SBU is on Spring Break this week and they are currently makig schedules for their current students (I share an office at my job with a Biology Major at Stony =)) so hopefully we will hear next week. I know that last year Easter was the LAST week in April, so I'm assuming because the holiday falls earlier this month we may hear back a LITTLE later than they did last year. I hope I'm wrong though! Haha. It would make enjoying the holiday that much better! Ah!

Hi everyone!! I see that everyone (including me) is counting down the days till we find out!! I just called HSC and they told me they won't be emailing out decisions till between mid April-end of April....so I guesse we still have some waiting :(
