Still waiting in NC

I never thought that the wait would be so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my test Sept.1 and I still have not got a letter or anything. North Carolina does not give the quick results. The BON usually sends a letter within about 5 days. (That's what I was told) I had 85 questions and like I said before, I only remember getting the very last one right :crying2: . I can hardly sleep and I think my mailman is going to have me arrested for stalking :) . Well, I'm praying for the best. To all of you that are waiting, good luck.

I took my test September 2nd in Greenville and am too still waiting...it is driving me nuts and my husband too....I call and go to the website with nothing. Someone told me they update the phone 2x's a day. I wish they would make it faster than they are going cause it reaks havic on our nerves...:uhoh3: .I had appx. 130-160 questions...(not sure) and I know I got the last one right....I know that doesn't mean much but I would rather know now pass/fail so I can plan my future not sit around waiting for the mail or having my phone attached to my ear.....Please keep me posted on how it goes and when you get your results.......

It takes 4-6 weeks for your criminal background check to be complete. The NCBON says that they will issue your license when that is complete but you will get a letter telling you if you passed. My 6 weeks will be up on the 15th of this month.

I know exactly how you feel. I took my boards yesterday 8/8/04... and I have been truly sick to my stomach every since. I never knew a test could be so hard. Most of my questions were very hard. It seemed as if they could have easily had 2 answers. I just couldn't decide between the 2.:uhoh21: Anyway I will be praying for you...... Good luck.

I had waited for 11 days to get my results from NC. It took a few more weeks after I got them back to get my license because, as someone else has said, the criminal background check takes so long. I took my test July 19th and was issued a license August 6th. They sent a letter saying I passed but it would be a while for my background check to come back.

I know what the wait feels like, though. Just know it's normal for them to take a while. Also, the NCBON only issues licenses on Tuesdays and Fridays. You should get a letter soon! Good luck!
