still waiting for my ATT!

Published

hi to all

can anyone here share their thoughts about my case.

you see i receive an acknowledgment email stating that my NCLEX registration is already been received and processed. i got that email on sept 18. it says that I'll receive my ATT within 4 weeks. it's alreardy month now and i havent receive it yet. BTW i'm applying in CA BON.

i'm worried about...

is it something to do with the my local board? i just found out recently that CA has this new policy that u'll have to take ur local board before u take their NCLEX.

if that's the case, what do i have to do? i passed my local board exam last june '06 and retake of test 3 and 5 last june '07.

Have you registered with pearsonvue? they are the ones that will issue you your ATT

yes silverdragon102...

i already have an account there.

i always check it.

in case they send my att in that account..

does it really take that long to get that ATT???

No, once you have eligibility you usually get it within a short period from pearsonvue. They need confirmation from BRN before they will issue but doesn't take this long. You may need to contact BRN alternatively have you checked with your junk folder as sometimes email ends up there

Did you actually apply to CA BRN and receive approval from them to sit for the exam in the first place? Pearson-Vue will not release the ATT until they have approval from CA BRN to do so. That you already registered with Pearson-Vue and paid them has no bearing on what CA will do and why we repeatedly tell everyone to wait to get approval before they pay Pearson-Vue. Once they get their money, it is theirs, and you have only up to one year for it to be available for you to test in, or they just keep the money.

You also have stated that you are applying to CA BRN, have you actually applied to them and received approval to test? Or did you submit first to Pearson-Vue?

You have taken and passed the local license, so that will not be an issue for you. CA usually is taking more than four months on average to grant approval to sit for the exam. When did you send in your application to them?

But are you also aware that if you do not hold a SSN#, then you are not going to get a license from them, but only a letter. And that will expire in three years and you will have to start things over again.

Please take the time to do some reading here about what is going on in CA now as well.

i already call them few hours ago. unfortunately its beyond office hours. i'll try my luck later.

Again, did you actually apply to the BRN and receive approval from them or did you just register with Pearson-Vue?

You did not respond to my question. So it is impossible to answer you. And did you write the NLE? CA will no longer grant approval to sit for the NCLEX if that was not written.

Hi suzanne

Sorry it took awhile, I was re-checking all the letters that sent to me by the BON and Pearson vue.

And yes, I do already have the elibility notice from CA. I got it last June.

I'll will call PV today to check on them.

I let you know about the updates.

Thanks.....:wink2:

good day to all

i just called the PV and they said that i should wait for 1-2 weeks. my registration, according to them, is quite new.

the thing that's bothers me is that they asked if i already pay the $200. shocks does it mean they still havent got the payment yet?

oh well my, i'm just pretty sad now. based on the messages i read in this forum, they usually got their ATT within 2 weeks. some have it after few hourss

some aplicants receive as early as 8 weeks from califoria but thats a case to case bases, a frined of mine recieved her eiligibility in 4 weeks. if you provide email on your pearson account they will email it to you. goodluck to you

Jealousy is all the fun you think they had.
