Stethoscope Recommendations

Was wondering what Stethoscopes are highly recommended by others? I'm taking a job in the CICU and want to invest in a good stethoscope. Money is no issue.

The new electronic stethoscopes appear to be quite awesome. I know one MD and one nurse that have them and they have good quality sound and the ability to print EKG strips with a certain app. It's cool.

I have a Littman master cardiology that I've had for about 11 years and it's still working great. Much less expensive than the electronic one so if money is NO issue, I'd go for the electronic.

I started with a Littman cardiology when I was new and needed to be able to know exactly what I was hearing.  Now that I’m a bit more seasoned I got a Littman classic.  It’s not quite a sharp as my cardiology was but it’s works for me.

I love my Littman cardiology

I have the Littman classic and I have picked up on murmurs and fine crackles others have had a hard time hearing, so I think it does a good job!

Does anybody have any recommendations for XS ear tips? I currently have the 3M Littman Classic III Monitoring Stethoscope and the size small ear tips are way too big for my ears, so they fall out.
When I try to forcefully shove them in my ear to stay put long enough to take a blood pressure reading, it hurts and they begin to slip out immediately. The instructors and my classmates have to physically hold them in place. This isn’t realistic for rotations and I’d love to find smaller ear tips.

I’m a new nursing student and would appreciate any help! Thank you!
