Stethoscope hurts my ears!

Hey all I was just wondering if you have any suggestions about ear attachments that dont go to far in the ear canal. I have sensitive ears and it hurts to even take a bp with my current stethoscope!

This is what I did. I have a cheap sprague stethoscope and mine came with the squishy earpieces and I just spread/bent apart the flat metal part (no clue what its called but the only shiney metal long flat piece on the whole thing) so it wasn't so painful/tight in my ears. It's perfectly comfortable now!

Try to find softer ear pieces--I used to have the same problem--felt like the thing was trying to relocate my ears somewhere into the middle of my head! Makes it hard to concentrate on whatever you're supposed to be listening to!

Marilynmom is right, spread the ear pieces apart so that you can loosen the tension.
