No you are not understanding.... You are not applying for NCLEX RN but licensure to be a RN in the US. NCLEX is just a part of that process and if you look on the BON websites it is application for license not application for NCLEX

Ok..I understand!how about the NLC is that true,that if you take nclex exam of their diff. State and one of which is new Mexico,you can practice on different state in u.s without reciprocity..tnx

NCLEX exam is accepted by all states however when moving from one state to another you have to get a new license as licenses are state based. When endorsing you will still have to meet BON requirements for foreign trained nurse. However not all states will give a license without SSN and that is when things will differ.

I graduate from nursing school outside US.

I have CES done by CGFNS.

Now I plan to send my application to Florida Nursing Board.

IS anybody know how long does it take for Florida Nursing Board to give me permision for NCLEX ?

Ok..how about the nurse licensure compact??can you give me a brief understanding on that..really appreciate u a lot..silverdragon..tnx tnx:nuke::)

Unless you are living in a compact state it will have no bearing. My understanding on compact state is residence in one state but working in another but if you move to the state and it becomes your permanent residence then you have to get a license for that state, compact will not work.

The first tip of my program can be found under the NCLEX Forum, this has already been explained to you on the NCLEX Forum. It must be completed before I can do anything else to help you.

There is no application anywhere in the world for you to apply directly for the NCLEX exam, it just does not exist. You will be applying for licensure as an RN to a BON and have to receive permission from them to test.

If you notice on your application for licensure, there is no mention of the NCLEX exam.
