Couple things to check on.

You are aware of retrogression and Florida will not issue you with a liense without a SSN?

You need CES done from http://www.cgfns.org before applying to Florida, they will not touch your application without it. All information regarding foreign trained will be on the Florida BON website

Also you are not applying for NCLEX RN but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is part of that process.

Title changed to reflect license not NCLEX

You can not send your application to Florida until you have CES done by CGFNS. All information regarding CES is on the CGFNS link in an earlier post. Would recommend you go for the full course by course. If your coursework was not done in English using English text books you will also need to take a English exam. That will be decided on the CES. The Florida link also explains the steps you need to do.

You do not have an application for the NCLEX exam as there is not one in existance. There is no way to apply for the exam directly. What you have is an application for licensure for a specific state.

All requirements are listed on the website for the FL BON, just follow the instructions that are given there.

so its a different thing when u are going to take an nclex exam for California?isnt it.im just going to take an nclex rn exam.Is CES a part o taking an exam..:(

hi suzanne...how can i get the suzanne's plan,,im planning to take an nclex review..and im interested to get one..i believe on your capabilities base on what ive read in this site..:nuke:

Each state has their own requirements and as we keep stating you are not applying for NCLEX RN but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is just a part of that process. CES is a credential evaluation where as Ca do their own evaluation. We do not recommend Ca for initial licensure and much has already been written about that so suggest a search. For most parts even when endorsing a license you will have to meet that BON's requirements for foreign trained nurse. If you are not issued a license, some states will not unless you give then a SSN which you can't get until you have a valid work visa, then you have to complete a license by exam and ask original BON to forward your NCLEX results to new BON. Please take some time to do some reading on here, much has already been written on many states and their application process. With retrogression there is no rush to get things completed
