i am a new graduate of nursing from the philippines and i am interested in applying for a license in Illinois. I am concerned about the license's reciprocity, and what are the requirements i need for applying. i have read the information on the state's website but i am still a little confused. help!!!! :o:uhoh21:

Hi. I am a nurse from the Philippines. I wish to apply for a retake in my nclex rn examination in illinois I was trying to check in the website if there is any form or step by step procedure on how to submit my application for a retake. But I cant find any instructions on how to go with this. Can somebody enlighten me. I was informed that i can apply a retake after 45 to 90 days. I beleive still have to pay for $85 to CTS, and $200 for Pearsonvue. How do I submit my payment to CTS? Shall I use the form that I downloaded the first time I applied for my examination?

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the site

Did you not get any forms with the computer printout of your exam showing the different areas and how you scored?

Thanks for your prompt reply. Actually I just learned from the quick result regarding my status so, I have yet to receive the mailled result of my nclex exam 3 or four weeks from now. Well you seem to imply that the mailed computer result also contains information on how to proceed with the retake of the exam. Thanks a lot.

You should get the forms from the BON along with a printout. Would also suggest you check out the NCLEX forum in the student section. Sure you will find much in the way of support, hints and tips. Good luck

You have to license to endorse so you will need to apply for licensure and meet BON requirements for foreign trained nurse and arrange for Ca to move your NCLEX results across for a small fee

how can I get license in IL if currently have GA license?

Follow instructions on IL website for endorsement and meet requirements plus pay any fees
