STCC 2011 Hopefuls?

Last year web advisor changed on April 6th, so I'm considering that D day, LOL!! A week from tomorrow, and my stomach is in knots already. I check WA several times a day, and my stomach is churning every time I do.

I didn't end up applying to AIC because their pre-reqs are so different, and I only took STCC ones. Worst case, I don't get into STCC this year so I spend a year doing pre-reqs for other schools and increase my chances of getting in.

I was very happy with my midterm grades, all A's :) This has to be the hardest part of the wait. I have a 4.0, all but 1 pre-req done, and a 94% on the HESI. Everyone else says that I'm in...but you never know. Maybe there are 96 people with a 4.0, a 05% on the HESI and ALL their pre-reqs done. Ugh. I wish I could fastforward the next two weeks!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the message boards, but am applying for this fall to STCC also and anxiously waiting for my acceptance just like the rest of you! I applied last year but didn't make it off of the waitlist because I wasn't finished with all my pre-req's at decision time...I finished my last pre-req last summer and have just been waiting it out for this year to finally come around! I remember it was around april 5th or 9th or so last year that people started finding out, so I've started stalking webadvisor a daily basis just in case anything gets updated...can't wait to see that change from "application complete" to "moved to student"!!!! :)

Hey everyone! I also applied and am anxiously awaiting. I'm very nervous though..I am not too confident that I will get in. My overall GPA is a 3.69 and I got about an 89% on my HESI. I have all A's except one, which is a B in micro. However, this semester I am taking sociology with an AWFUL teacher...so my midterm grade was a B- . Honestly, can you guys give me your opinion on how you think that is? I know it isn't bad, but not sure if it is good enough for the program.

I really hope to be with all of you in the fall though! :)

hello ladies!!!

hopefully this is the week that will determine if we got in or not!!!!! im so excited, i have been looking for stethoscopes and nursing shoes already lol! i really want to go to stcc but if not i will be going to aic!!!!!! good luck!!

p.s am i the only one that checks web advisor like a billion times a day???? lol

Nope, I've been checking WA numerous times a day. It's like a sick obsession, lol. The closer it gets, the more nervous I'm getting. I keep trying to figure out what the date is going to be, and last year it was the 6th, which was a Tuesday (but campus was prob closed on Monday because of Easter...right?) So it could be posted tomorrow...

For the sake of my sanity, it had better be by the end of the week at the latest!

i thought it was jus me lol. im sooooooooo anxious. i called admissions and they didnt wanna give me any info..... they told me i should expect something within the nxt 2 weeks......THAT BETTER BE FALSEE lol

so i jus got off the phone with someone from admissions and they said that they are in the process of changing the statuses in webadvisor :heartbeat

Mine hasn't changed yet. I'm thinking you won't know fr sure if you've beendeclined until the letter comes - or if a ton of them change and yours doesn't.
